Wedding Invitation Process

Step 1 – Your Complimentary Consultation:

The first step starts with your complimentary consultation. During your design consultation we will discuss your design theme, colors, and any special details you would like to incorporate in your design. Any details from your wedding or event can be used for inspiration on your design. We will also work within your budget to choose the perfect design that best suites you. Oda Creative will work with you to design your couture invitation set and customize other stationery options such as thank you cards, directions card, menus, escort cards, wedding programs and gift tags to complete your stationery suite.


Step 2 – Estimate/Service Contract:

After your consultation you will receive an estimate and design time line based on what was discussed during your consultation. Please allow 3-5 business days to receive your estimate. At this point, if you decide to move forward with Oda Creative, we require a signed estimate/contract and a 30% deposit to continue with the design process as well as the wording for your invitations and any photos or material you would like included (please make sure that you look this over for the proper spelling, capitalization, and punctuation before sending it back to via e-mail).


Step 3 – Pre-Production and Proofing:

During this design process we will be providing you a preview of your invitations by sending you digital proofs in Adobe PDF format via email. Once all proofs are reviewed and approved by you, we make all necessary revisions and updates to your order. At the end of this stage all balance payments are due and your order proceeds to final production.  Oda Creative wants to make sure everything is perfect so please be sure to check all grammar, spelling or typos. Please note that once digital proofs are approved and proceed to the final production stage, Oda Creative is not responsible for any errors and mistakes overlooked or omitted during your preview. Please give 2 weeks for custom orders and 6-8 weeks for couture luxury designs to be emailed to you for proofing.


Step 4 – Final Production:

At this final stage we print and assemble your order according to your specifications and your final approval. Please allow approximately 2 – 4 weeks for most classic and custom orders and up to 12 weeks on some designs. Our exact production times may vary depending on the complexity of the order. We will provide you an estimated completion time during your initial consultation. You may also request a rush service at an additional fee.


Stage 5- Pickup or delivery:

Once your order has been printed and we have completed assembly, we will contact you by phone or email to schedule a suitable pickup time. You may also request we ship your order to you at an additional charge. Please be sure to state your preference at this time.
